Kim is the ESE Academic Lab Engineer and is honored to work with the amazing Detkin staff and support bright and aspiring students from all walks of life. Her background in robotics allows her to help with the mechanical, electrical, and software aspects of student projects. She has a secondary appointment as an adjunct lecturer teaching ESE519: Real-time Embedded Systems in the fall and ESE350: Introduction to Embedded Systems in the spring. Her primary professional interests lie in embedded systems, STEM education, K-12 outreach, and PCB design. Outside of engineering, Kim bakes a ridiculous amount of naturally leavened bread and practices ashtanga yoga.
